Hi, I’m Dr. Samantha Calvillo.
I’m a Latina psychotherapist, life-long learner, and second-generation daughter of Mexican immigrants. My work centers on helping adults heal from trauma, anxiety, and the complexities of living between cultures.
I provide culturally grounded, evidence-based care that honors the identities, stories, and lived experiences of each client I serve. I believe healing happens when we feel safe, understood, and fully seen, not just as individuals, but within the cultural worlds that shaped us.
I’m a second-generation Latina raised in rural Central California, and my relationship to culture has evolved alongside my own growth. I understand firsthand the complexity of navigating personal values within traditional Latino beliefs — and the courage it takes to find your own middle ground.
Today, I live in Los Angeles near the ocean (a longtime dream of mine) with my partner and our two Siamese rescue cats, Jupiter and Skye. When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me collecting shells at the beach, reading, or listening to podcasts about Jung, the unconscious, or the occasional UFO.
My Approach
What began as a passion project has evolved into something more. We’re proud of where we’ve been and even more excited for what’s ahead. What sets us apart isn’t just our process—it’s the intention behind it. We take time to understand, explore, and create with purpose at every turn.
Simple ideas
Through every step, we've focused on staying true to our values and making space for thoughtful, lasting work.
Lasting impact
We build with clarity, act with integrity, and always stay curious.
